What I Do
Many years ago I walked through the doors of Florence Eiseman Co to apply for a design job. What I didn't know then was that it would turn out to be my dream job, working for a family owned company known for it's quality and design of high end children's clothing.

The job took me to far away places in search of the best fabrics, the best factories, and the best restaurants!

About five years ago I started designing a collection of knitwear as a division of Florence Eiseman. This entailed designing the prints as well as the garments and working with a printer and manufacturer in Peru.

I discovered how much I love designing prints. My creative design process has always started with the fabric: What are the coordinating colors, what is the drape, how does it feel, and how does it speak to me.
I have been so inspired by the fabrics over the years that I decided to pursue surface print design as my second career. As I was inspired, I hope to inspire other designers in the fashion field, especially in the children's market.

I love bold, simple shapes in clean colors with a little whimsy and happy thrown in.

And that's my cat, Mika, and my view out of my studio window.
